Concepts of Hell and Paradise

TM wrote: 1st of all they should explain, why should we 21st Century Space Age Adults believe in 7th Century illiterate ignorant Bedouin's Fairy Tale of Hell and Paradise in Sky, when our Telescopes find none of them in Sky?
Some Moslims claim, "Oh Hell and Paradise are just states of Mind, not something Physically existent" but when I ask, "If they are Non Physical, why Allah is talking about Physical Pain then?", they never come back to answer my question.

Reply: Believers in the revelations have faith that whatever is written in the scriptures is true. We Muslims take the entire Quran on faith, acknowledging our acute lack of knowledge, and pray that God increases us in knowledge and guidance, and turns to us in forgiveness and mercy.
I have tried to understand some of the verses which convey to us some information of the Hereafter. I'm sharing them here in case they help answer some questions. Please find below the abstracts and links to the full text:

Bliss & Realm Magnificent
Many verses throughout the Qur’an describe various aspects of the Garden promised to those who believe and do good deeds. Surah 76 of the Qur’an begins with evolutionary insignificance (76:1), origin and purpose of the human (76:2), divine guidance (76:3), punishment for rejection (76:4), and then goes on to describe some very specific features of the promised reward, which represent the best of the best of those found on Earth. Then, verse 22 states that:

76:22 إِنَّ هَـٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَاءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا
[Al-Qur’an 76:22, translator: Sahih International] [And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated.”

Fuel of Hell: Humans and Stones
The Quran verse 2:24, describes humans and stones as fuel of The Fire prepared for the disbelievers. The Quran also mentions that though those in The Fire will wish death or escape, yet they will have no choice but to endure the punishment continuously. In this Concept, occurrences in nature of stones and creatures under high temperature and pressure, and other unusual circumstances, has been explored, as an attempt to imagine the possibility of humans enduring The Fire while being a renewable fuel source.

Setting of the Stars
Qur’an chapter 56 links the Inevitable Event to the ‘setting’ of the stars [end stage of stellar evolution?] with the statement that, if we understood, we would realise it is a great oath! Qur’an verses 17:49-51 state that even if humans became stones or iron, or anything harder that humans can imagine, yet they will be resurrected.
Current theory of Stellar Evolution postulates that the end stage of a massive star’s life is when silicon is burnt into iron. Beyond this, according to the theory, no further burning is possible.

Alternate Biochemistry
In this Concept, the plausibility of alternate biochemistry is explored on the basis of known exotic creatures. The Quran 56:60-62 speaks of resurrection in an unknown form of creation, while drawing attention to the fact that we already know the first form of creation.
Scientists continue to be amazed and baffled by the life forms that are being discovered in the most extreme and hostile of environments — it seems that the new challenge is to be able to not find life somewhere. Life seems to exist in all possible conditions. As the saying goes: life finds a way!

Orientation: Right or Left
Regarding the Day of Judgement and the Hereafter, the Quran provides vivid details in terms of left and right orientations. There are many teachings attributed to Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w. (may Allah’s blessings be upon him)) regarding the preferred usage of right or left hand  or foot.
Preferences for right and left orientation are also found in nature. We can attempt to contemplate upon the guidance with concepts of Chirality found across all sciences.
Noor is another term used in connection with the right-oriented. Luminescence, and particularly bioluminescence found in several organisms helps comprehend this concept.
Though we may still not comprehend it fully, let alone draw any conclusions, however it opens our minds to possibilities beyond the ordinary, and helps us to appreciate the wisdom of the teachings, and more readily accept guidance on faith.

And Allah knows best!

MSA wrote: Your blog does not answer following questions:
-if Iblees is immortal, and if he would face Allah on the Day of Judgment without being resurrected?
-What punishment would he be subjected to for his continuous, and uninterrupted mischiefs with human beings?
-Does Ibless have influence over animals and Jinns as well?

Response:
The Quran and prior scriptures may or may not have addressed the specific points raised below. There are some related verses which give some idea, such as:

Iblees accepting that his promise was false:

And will say the Shaitaan, when has been decided the matter, "Indeed, Allah promised you a promise (of) truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But not I had over you any authority except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So (do) not blame me, but blame yourselves. Not (can) I (be) your helper and not you (can) (be) my helper. Indeed, I deny [of what] your association of me (with Allah) before. Indeed, the wrongdoers, for them (is) a punishment painful."

Jinns and Humans being led to Hell:

Then who (is) more unjust than (one) who invented against Allah a lie or denies His Verses? Those - will reach them their portion from the Book, until when comes to them Our messengers (Angels) (to) take them in death they say, "Where are those (whom) you used to invoke besides Allah?" They say, "They strayed from and they (will) testify against themselves that they were disbelievers. He (will) say, "Enter among (the) nations (who) passed away before you of the jinn and the men in the Fire." Every time entered a nation it cursed its sister (nation) until when they had overtaken one another in it all, (will) say (the) last of them about the first of them, "Our Lord, these misled us so give them double punishment of the Fire." He (will) say, "For each (is) a double [and] but not you know."

The Jinns realising that they had been lied to when they heard the Quran:

وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ شَطَطًا
وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن تَقُولَ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا
And that he used to speak - the foolish among us against Allah an excessive transgression. And that we thought that never will say the men and the jinn, against Allah any lie.

The Sky being guarded by Strongholds made of Teenin Lazib:
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍ
Then ask them, "Are they a stronger creation or (those) whom We have created?" Indeed, We created them from a clay sticky.

My understanding of Teenin Lazib as mentioned in Al-Quran 37:4-12
What are comets made of?

Then ask them: are they stronger in creation or whom we have created? We created them of ‘teenin lazibin’

Verse 37:11 goes on to question who is more difficult to create, and unequivocally states that We created them from ‘teenin lazibin’. According to Lane’s Lexicon, ’teenin’ is clay or mud, while ‘lazibin’ means fixed, settled, firm or constant, and severe. Could the above verse be describing what comets are made of?

The findings from the Stardust mission to collect comet samples indicates: ‘Scientists found a wide variety in particle composition and size in the Wild 2 samples. Most of the Wild 2 samples appear to be weakly constructed mixtures of very small grains with a few larger grains. Also, a wide range of high- and low-temperature minerals, from olivine to low- and high-calcium pyroxene compositions, is present in the Wild 2 samples. Such a diversity of high- and low-temperature minerals requires a wide range of formation conditions, probably reflecting different formation locations. Many particles did not form in the cold environment and locations where cometary ices condensed. Instead, they needed high temperatures to form, as well as complex and as yet little understood dynamical processes to end up where comets actually formed. Also, particles from different environments must have undergone some process of accretion to end up as aggregates composed of different minerals.’ [http://stardust.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news110.html ]

A new picture of Comets is emerging: The Electric Comet

My interpretation of the verse: Indeed your Deity is One. The Lord of the Heavens and Earth and all that is between them, and Lord of all origins; We have adorned the Heaven of the world with adornment of the hard glistening rocky celestial bodies; and guarding against every rebellious devil; they cannot listen to the Exalted Assembly for they are pelted from every side; outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; except such as who snatches by stealth, is pursued by a piercing flame; Then ask them: are they stronger in creation or whom we have created? We created them of ‘teenin lazibin’. But, you wonder and they make fun.

May Allah guide us to a better and clearer understanding of His Message. Amen.

Improving the Here for the Hereafter

In an email discussion list, the following opined thus:
HSK: Iblees was angel from species of Jin was he? Quite a number of  his relatives are settled and living in Pakistan!
SS: Here you are right. God save Pakistan from the clutches of Iblees and his  progenies.
AM: Whether Iblees was a jinn or Angel the fact is that he had disobeyed Allah JS.  Because it mentions that all bowed except Iblees. Meaning that he was expected to bow. Later Allah explicitly asks him of the reasons as to why did he not bow? - meaning thereby that he was required to bow.
NK: Iraqis were discussing 'fiqas,' when Halaku's  armies turned their rivers into blood.
When Ahmed Shah Abdali reached Delhi, the discussion in the mosques was, if the Prophet was 'noorani,' or 'jasmani.'
How about producing a product or a service that the world wants?
Develop Systems that work, armed forces, Edhi Foundation, rely less on Mohammad Bin Qasims.

Reply: Agree with all!

Allah repeatedly invites the Believers to do Good Works and offers the Gardens of Eden as Inheritance to those who heed to the message. Inheritance implies a huge responsibility! We have to work to make this world a better place to prove our worthiness for such a magnificent inheritance.

Iblees and his progeny are the sworn enemies of Adam and his progeny (us). The Quran explains the origin and objective of their enmity: the destruction of the progeny of Adam. It is important to revisit the verses which inform us thus, so that we can avoid the temptations and pitfalls. Kindly read:  http://signsandscience.blogspot.com/2015/11/mission-of-messengers-ii.html

If our country is to progress and our condition improve, we have to fix our thinking and get rid of our ignorance and complacency. We have to educate ourselves and others, urgently!

What affect the Fire of Hell would have on the Jinns?

MSA wrote: "The Quran states that the Jinns have been created from fire: "
The Jinns would be tried on the Day of Judgment and those found to have lived a pious and Islamic life on earth would enter heaven to live in it, and to enjoy its felicities with the Muslim men!
But those Jinns who would be found to have not lived their lives according to the teaching of the Quran would be consigned to Hell to burn forever in its inferno. The question is:
What affect the fire of hell would have on the Jinns?

Reply: Humans are made of clay. If a human is struck with stones or bricks, or if a human is drowning in quick sand, the human finds the experience rather unpleasant, to say the least.
I imagine the fire of Hell would also have some unpleasant effect on a creature made from fire.
He who created everyone and everything, including humans and jinns, surely knows what He is warning us about.

Jinn exist in the Shadow Biosphere

IA wrote: Jinn is anything that is hidden from a person (human). It can mean different things for different people. The Word and phrase itself is linguistically used for acts that appear to be impossible for human to achieve. Its only my humble opinion and understanding. But now if we begin to think that it is a parallel biological species (almost like human) I do have difficulty understanding that concept. Examples: virus and bacteria unkown and unseen at a given time and at a given state of science and technology in any culture. Rays or particles (depending upon whose literature one reads) in a wide EM spectrum that are invisible but yet may have biological effects. Spies and intelligence related people who lurch in shadows. Assassins and special forces who work in the dark. Powerful and ultra rich who can affect the policies and politics in an given city-state. These are just example of Jinns; there are hundreds…..different kinds of Jinnat.
Of course, God Almight created them all.

Reply: The Quran states that the Jinns have been created from fire:

وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ
And the jinn We created it before from fire scorching.

The Quran informs us that Iblees was exiled to Earth along with Adam, and that Iblees and his progeny are constantly trying to mislead and destroy mankind.

We are also informed that there are two persons throughout our lives, recording all our deeds:
إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ
مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ
When receive the two receivers on the right and on the left seated. Not he utters any word but with him (is) an observer ready.

You may want to search online for Shadow Biosphere for speculations about alternate biochemistry existing along with us on Earth.

As to people being evil, the last chapter of the Quran is a prayer for protection against the 'khanaas' who are from both jinns and humans: http://searchtruth.com/chapter_display_all.php?chapter=114

Mullahs shaping Religion

KA wrote: Muslims don’t follow Quran, they follow what Mullahs say is Quran, and what Mullahs say is Quran is not really Quran, it is Mullahs silly wishes and dreams.

DtS responded: You are correct. We follow Mullas instead of Quran as the Mulla community deliberately disallow our young generation from reading the Quranic translation to understand Islam. We are forced to either learn Arabic with correct pronouncation which is a difficult process or otherwise simply recite and make Hifz of Quran without understanding to please the Mulla not Allah. We should ban Mullaism and proclaim Pakistan a liberal state with religion as  a personal subject as proclaimed by Quaide Azam who was not a Mulla. There should be non-Mulla Mosques in our country and the Madressahs functioning as theological centres like Christian seminary, Hindu's Dharamshalas or Buddhism monastery system should be upgraded into schools with Quran and its translation as one of the subjects. In Arabia there is no Madressah system to corner Islam to Mullaism.
Please project this honest views to all our Muslims and leaders and members of the National Assembly and Senate to take action immediately to save Islam from exploitation. Thanks.

My Comments:

Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God).
[Translator: Muhammad Sarwar]

To be honest, it is not the illiterate Mullahs, but the educated Muslims where the blame lies. The well-educated people, those who are privileged enough to study, understand, apply and then teach the Quran, have abandoned their religious responsibility in pursuit of their worldly interests. With the result that the uneducated villagers with long beards get hired to serve in the masajid and madressahs.

If the educated people start volunteering part time in their local masjid / madressah, soon the Mullahs will become unneeded and irrelevant, and will be forced to seek other jobs, leaving the job of religious education of the people to the educated people of the community. People who volunteer and do not seek any payment, emulating the sunnah of the great prophets of God:

أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللَّهُ فَبِهُدَاهُمُ اقْتَدِهْ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Those (are) ones whom Allah has guided, so of their guidance you follow. Say, "Not I ask you for it any reward. It (is) not but a reminder for the worlds."

WHY & HOW Questions of Faith

WA wrote: An educated person, Muslim or not, will not stop short. He/She would go all the way to ask probing questions before accepting any statement as a matter of fact. This line of inquiry or verification is heuristic and can be pursued only by an educated person. A Mullah does not have the mental enlightenment or clarity to advance on this route in a rational manner. If an educated person stops short, then it is as good as a semi-educated Mullah deciding to tell every one what Allah SWT supposedly says in Quran.

An educated person would like to have a convincing response as to why Allah SWT, Who is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent, is unable to communicate with His own creatures without needing the help and assistance of a mortal man doing HIM the favor of  being a via-media?

What is the main vernacular of Allah SWT ? Why does HE have to choose a language developed by human beings and spoken in a tiny area of the planet, while the great majority spoke other man made languages like Chinese, Spanish, Sanskirit/Hindi, Latin, Farsee etc ?

Why is Allah SWT handicapped being a monolingual and needs the kindness and favor from His mortal creatures to translate His divine book into other more widely spoken languages ? Human beings are fallible and cannot help injecting human errors into the translations of HIS  divine words into a lingua franca of great majority?

Couldn't Allah SWT send his Message directly into the hearts and minds of HIS creatures ? Is Allah SWT not capable of sending His Divine Word which simply would not need interpretation by human beings ? Why does He need the help of a mortal, who knows no other language but only one certain dialect of the Arabic language?

How is it rationally determined that the words in Quran are divine commandments of the Creator ? How are these handicaps justified for Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Allah SWT?

Why is the poor semi-educated Mullah blamed when the educated ones too stop short in their inquiry ?

Answer: Allah has granted humans the requisite faculties, and the Quran exhorts and encourages the use of the intellect to question and reason. However, faith is granted on merit: Allah grants faith to those who will it, and withholds faith from those who are too arrogant to humble themselves to the will of Allah.

The Quran's answers to the WHY questions will only be acceptable to those who believe it to be guidance sent from God. Otherwise, even if all the HOW questions are answered, those who disbelief in the unseen will not be able to accept the truth, no matter how many signs and evidences are presented to them.

The Quran addresses both the WHY and the HOW questions. Its amazing to read what the Creator's message informs us about the software and hardware of His creation, with the explicit instruction to not to tamper with the software of creation, terming it as the right religion!

By the grace of Allah, I've been able to undertake a study of the factual accuracy of the Quran, and have shared my learnings online. Please visit my blogs to see if the answers to the HOW convince you to take the answers of the WHY on faith:

It is always possible to rationally discuss and respectfully disagree, without insulting others or their beliefs. We just have to remember that we can only inform, remind and warn, while it is Allah who decides who to grant faith to and when.

Who is Responsible for a Person's Lack of Faith?

WA asked: If Allah SWT decides to grant someone with Faith, then that Someone is the Blessed one. If not, then who is responsible and who suffers for it ?

Answer: Well, the Quran informs us that Allah withholds faith from those who are unwilling to have faith. It says that such people are doing zulm against their own selves, and that Allah is never unjust and never wrongs anyone. Of course, believers in the Quran take such statements on faith, even though we don't really understand exactly what it means.
I tried to look up if their was some biological basis to Free Will / Free Won't, and this is how I begin to understand it: http://signsandscience.blogspot.com/2014/08/divine-will-and-human-free-will.html

Polytheism -> Monotheism -> Good Speech‏

Only you (can) warn (him) who follows the Reminder and fears the Most Gracious in the unseen. So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a reward noble.

And not We taught him [the] poetry, and not it is befitting for him. Not it (is) except a Reminder and a Quran clear, To warn (him) who is alive and may be proved true the Word against the disbelievers.

Prophet-Messenger Muhammad was sent on mission to a polytheistic society, who were highly religious, and took pride in the fact that they were the custodians of the Ka'aba, housing their idols in it. The Quran, Surah An-Najm, specifically names their three major idols and condemns their faith.

History informs us that the polytheists considered Allah (The Deity) to be the head of their pantheon of gods, and that Allah was the moon-god. The Quran, Surah Al-Qamar, draws our attention to the miracle of the splitting of the Moon, which negated the pagans' false belief of deifying the moon. Surely He, who could split the moon, also had power over the associated physics, and was able to ensure that the Earth survived for people to recognise the clear sign and heed the warning.

Some of the primary addressees of the Quran were converting to the monotheistic message that they were being called to. It is but natural to expect that they were experiencing a wide range of emotions from gratitude for the guidance to anger at the past practices and their polytheistic religious leaders. The Quran 6:108 contained their revilement and fury thus:
And (do) not insult those whom they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah (in) enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to every community their deed. Then to their Lord (is) their return, then He will inform them about what they used to do.

When Moses was sent on mission to Pharaoh, he and his brother Aaron were ordered thus:
Go, both of you, to Firaun. Indeed, he (has) transgressed. And speak to him a word gentle, perhaps he may take heed or fear."

Regarding the sects created within the religion, the Quran 6:159 condemns sectarianism, but also orders the believers to steer clear of arguments about the sects' beliefs:
Indeed, those who divide their religion and become sects, you are not with them in anything. Only their affair (is) with Allah, then He will inform them of what they used to do.

And hold firmly to (the) rope (of) Allah all together and (do) not be divided. And remember (the) Favor (of) Allah on you when you were enemies then He made friendship between your hearts then you became by His Favor brothers. And you were on (the) brink (of) pit of the Fire then He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes clear for you His Verses so that you may (be) guided.

In the Hereafter, God promises to reward those who believe and work accordingly with grades of dignity. Good speech will be rewarded thus:
Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do the righteous deeds, (to) Gardens flow from underneath it the rivers. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein (will be of) silk. And they were guided to the good of the speech, and they were guided to (the) path (of) the Praiseworthy.

The Quran ,Surah Rum, begins with the news of the victory of the Romans, reminding that Allah's promise is true. The Quran, Surah Rum, ends on the following note of encouragement for the believers:

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ
So be patient. Indeed, (the) Promise (of) Allah (is) true. And (let) not take you in light estimation those who (are) not certain in faith.

The Messiah and The Mahdi

And for their saying, "Indeed, we killed the Messiah, Isa, son (of) Maryam, (the) Messenger (of) Allah." And not they killed him and not they crucified him but it was made to appear (so) to them. And indeed, those who differ in it (are) surely in doubt about it. Not for them about it [of] (any) knowledge except (the) following (of) assumption. And not they killed him, certainly. Nay, Allah raised him towards Him. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. And (there is) not from (the) People (of) the Book but surely he believes in him before his death. And (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection he will be against them a witness.

The Quran 4:157 is clear that they neither killed nor crucified Jesus.

The Quran 3:33
Indeed, Allah chose Adam and Nuh, and (the) family (of) Ibrahim and (the) family (of) Imran over the worlds.

Since, according to the Quran 3:33, the Family of Imran is the chosen one, then it is only logical to expect the son of the Virgin Mary to return as the saviour. For my understanding of virgin birth, please read:  http://signsandscience.blogspot.com/2015/10/virgin-birth.html

And when (is) fulfilled the word against them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, that the people were, of Our Signs, not certain.

As the Quran 27:82 warns of the emergence of the Beast as a result of the disbelief of the people, the extra-Quranic expectation of the arrival of Imam Mahdi and Jesus seems the more plausible.

And verily We sent Musa with Our Signs, that "Bring out your people from the darkness[es] to the light. And remind them of the days (of) Allah." Indeed, in that surely (are) the signs for everyone patient and thankful.

The Quran 14:5 refers to Days of Allah, and mentions that in it is a sign for all patient and grateful. I think it refers to the arrival of Imam Mahdi and Jesus, so that just as the Bani Israel were rescued from the terrible crimes and corruptions of Pharaoh and his people, similarly the believers will be rescued from the evil of the Beast and all who follow him.

When the sky is split asunder,

You will surely embark (to) stage from stage.

The Quran 84:1 informs of when the 'as-samaa' (singular) is split, and verse 19 of the same chapter informs us that we will surely travel from stage to stage, or experience state after state.

(The) Day We will fold the heaven like (the) folding (of) a scroll for records. As We began (the) first creation We will repeat it, a promise upon Us. Indeed, We - We are (the) Doers. And verily, We have written in the Scripture after the mention, that the earth - will inherit it My slaves, the righteous.

The Quran 21:105 informs us that the 'salaiheen' will inherit the Earth. However, the preceding verse, 21:104, mentions the folding of 'as-samaa' (singular) and recreation of Earth and Sky. Perhaps the popular Christian faith of to be 'born again and saved' was actually referring to this event which is yet to happen.

So he smiled - laughing at her speech and said, "My Lord! Grant me (the) power that I may thank You (for) Your Favor which You have bestowed on me and on my parents and that I may do righteous (deeds), that will please You. And admit me by Your Mercy among Your slaves righteous."

The Quran 27:19 quotes Solomon's prayer of gratitude and the request to be included, by Allah's mercy, among the 'salaiheen' - perhaps he also was praying for the event referred to in 21:105.

If my understanding of the consequence of Adam's disobedience is correct, that is corruption of the genetic code of bani Adam, then it is only Allah's mercy which will repair and restore our genetic code to as Allah originally designed Adam.

Perhaps, if Allah wills, we will someday be able to connect the dots, so that the gaps in our knowledge are filled, and we understand clearly. I hope and pray that, in sha Allah, we recognise the signs as they are revealed, believe in them, side with the truth, and are included, by Allah's mercy, among the 'salaiheen'.

May Allah guide us and bless us.

On Discussing Religion

To an email list, I wrote: I just don't understand why all believers in Allah, the one and only ilah, cannot try to be more kind with each other, sharing with each other our knowledge of the deen, in the spirit of helping each other find our way.
Even though we are convinced about the veracity of our beliefs, it is quite possible that others with differing views may be right. How will we know if we get angry and refuse to listen and discuss?
In an increasingly secular world, how few are the people interested in discussing religion? Is it okay chase away those who are trying to make sense of it all? Perhaps Allah chooses to guide them, or perhaps Allah means it to be a learning experience for us.
I hope and pray that Allah unites us all in the pursuit of truth, blesses us with guidance and is well pleased with us.

Q wrote: When Allah directs firmly to WAGHLUZ A'LAIHIM, your advice to be kind with them goes contrary with Allah. In this kind of situation, you think where do you stand. A small vice be removed by hand, if not by writing or by speech, if not then at least you think that vice undesireable by Allah. But what of the vice of a'qeedah? wouldn't you even do AMR BIL MA'ROOF AND NAHYA A'NIL MUNKAR??
Allah asked the Arch Angel Hazrat Jibraeel A'laihissalam to go and turn a town upside down. In a single and quick dive he found an a'abid who had never transgressed against Allah. He went to Allah and said he found a pious man in that town that never disobeyed you. Allah ordered him to destroy the town along with that man whose face never turned blue when this vice was spreading in that town. DO YOU WANT TO TO TAKE THE PLACE OF THAT PIOUS MAN??

Answer: Is not everyone who believes in the one ilah, Allah, a believer?
Is not everyone who believes in Allah as the only ilah, Muhammad as Rasool Allah and Quran as divinely revealed scripture a Muslim?
Is not the person who is a Muslim and follows the guidance in the Quran a Momin?
Does not Quran 49:10-12 declare Momins as a single brotherhood? Does it not order us to not to be sarcastic and judgemental? ... and does it not order us to avoid suspicion as in some cases it is a sin?
Does not the Quran 23:1-9 define a Momin, and 23:3 specifically mentions a Momin as one who avoids vain talk?
Does Quran 4:94 not warn us to not declare others as unbelievers, and reminds us of Allah's favour upon us, and that before it we were also like them?
Does Quran 25:63 not guide us to be humble and offer salam/peace to those we deem ignorant?
Does 28:55 also not describe the believers as humble, avoiding vain talk and sending peace on those they deem ignorant?
Does the Quran 48:29 not describe those who are with Muhammad Rasool Allah as being compassionate amongst each other?
Does not Quran 16:125 advise us to invite to the way of the Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching, and to argue in ways that are best and most gracious? Does it not advise us to show patience and withhold judgement?
Does not Quran 41:33-35 direct us to repel evil with what is better, emphasising the role of patience and self-restraint?
Does not Quran 3:132-134 direct us to race towards forgiveness from Allah, and lists restraining anger and pardoning people among the desired virtues of those who will inherit the Gardens?
Is not gently reminding/ politely advising others also acts of amr bil maroof and nahi annil munkar?

As regards the story of the upturned town you relate in the second paragraph of your email, I find it difficult to believe considering that when the people of Lut were to be destroyed and Abraham was pleading for the innocent, he was assured that not a single innocent person will be harmed. Moreover, in Quran 48:24-25 it is explicitly mentioned that in the conquest of Makkah Allah restrained the believers because there were believing men and believing women among the Meccans, and had the Muslim army trampled them, they would have unknowingly committed a crime!

Here we are not even at war. We are discussing religion through emails. Will we not then be kind and cautious lest we incur a crime for being harsh and judgemental?

Pig Meat

MSA wrote: ... Because the insulin for type-1 diabetes was invented by the Muslim scientists, it does not contain pig's insulin. The one invented by the despicable Jews contains it, hence no Muslim injects it to save their lives!!

Response: There are four mentions of the list of things forbidden to humans for eating, and in all four instances, it is specifically mentioned that the meat of pigs is forbidden:
Say, "I (do) not find in what has been revealed to me (anything) forbidden to an eater who eats it except that it be dead or blood poured forth or (the) flesh (of) swine - for indeed, it (is) filth - or (it be) disobedience, [is] dedicated to other than Allah [on it]. But whoever (is) compelled not desiring and not transgressing, then indeed, your Lord (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas which is an organ. In the past bovine and porcine insulin was used to treat patients. These days almost all insulin prescribed is recombinant DNA human.
